Prashant Thakker

Prashant Thakker is an entrepreneur and intrapreneur with 27 years of experience. He is the Country Head for LOLC Group and MD & CEO of LOLC India Finance Pvt Ltd. Previously, he launched Centrum Microcredit Limited, which merged into Unity Small Finance Bank. Prashant founded ProGro Ventures in 2016, offering strategic consulting to financial institutions. He has also held key roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including Global Head for Microfinance, overseeing $2B investments across 22 countries.

Conrad Dias

Conrad Dias, former Group CIO and Director of LOLC Holdings Plc., co-founded iPay and led LOLC Finance Plc. With 30 years of expertise in trading, banking, finance, asset management, and manufacturing, he has shaped the IT and financial sectors. A Fellow of CIMA, BCS, and CMA Sri Lanka, he holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Leicester. Recognized for his contributions, he won the CSSL CIO of the Year, 2016, the Professional Excellence Award (2017), and was inducted into the Global CIO Hall of Fame, 2020.

Dulip Rasika Samaraweera

Mr. Samaraweera is a Director of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. He holds a Degree in Physical Sciences specializing in statistics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Also, he is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). In 2004, Mr. Samaraweera began his career in investment research and joined the LOLC Group 3 years later. Furthermore, he serves as a director of LOLC Myanmar Microfinance Limited. He has acquired a variety of experience and professionalism in financial management, process improvement, strategic planning, investments and acquisitions.

A Ramanathan

Mr. A Ramanathan is qualified as a MBA and holds degree as BA- Economics. He has almost 15 years of experience in the NBFC industry. He holds 30+ years experience in various positions in NABARD and has retired as the CGM- Microcredit Innovations Department, NABARD. Currently, he is on the board of various NBFCs, including NBFC-MFI.

Monideepa Sengupta

Monideepa Sengupta is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with nearly a decade of professional experience in the BFSI sector. Her expertise lies in Financial Reporting, Regulatory matters, Taxation, business acquisition and capital markets transactions. She has played a significant role in the execution of private equity deals and other impact fundings during her previous stints. She holds a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA UK.

Priyal Ashar heads the Human Resource function at LOLC India Finance and brings a wealth of expertise in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Performance Management. With over a decade of experience in Human Resources, her career spans significant roles at leading private sector banks including a 6.5+ years at Yes Bank and 3 years at HDFC Bank. She started her career working with Conjoin Consultancy. Priyal has completed MBA in Human Resources from Oriental Institute of Management, Mumbai University and is a Commerce graduate from K.J Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce, Mumbai.

Ishara Nanayakkara

Mr. Ishara Nanayakkara, a global entrepreneur, serves on multiple corporate boards. With a strong business background, he entered financial services through a strategic investment in LOLC Holdings PLC, joining the Board in 2002. Under his leadership, LOLC became Sri Lanka’s most profitable conglomerate, pioneering a global MSME platform.

Kapila Jayawardena

Mr. Kapila Jayawardena joined the Board in July 2010 and serves as Group Managing Director & CEO of LOLC Group. With an MBA in Financial Management and 27+ years in banking, he was CEO/Country Head of Citibank Sri Lanka & Maldives for nine years. He has held key leadership roles, including Chairman of the Sri Lanka Banks Association (2003/04) and President of the American Chamber of Commerce (2006/07). A distinguished professional, he serves on multiple LOLC Group boards and has earned numerous accolades.

Sarajika Sunjeevani

Sunjeevani has been the CFO of LOLC Holdings PLC since 2005, overseeing financial management across the group. With 20+ years in financial services, she specializes in compliance, restructuring, M&A, and project management. She has held key roles in insurance, factoring, fund management, and stockbroking. A fellow of CIMA (UK) and CGMA (USA), she also holds an MBA from the University of Colombo.
